Launched at LUSEP in 2005 as the UK’s first Centre of Excellence for Low Carbon and Fuel Cell technologies, today, Cenex focuses on low emission transport and associated energy infrastructure, as an independent, not-for-profit research technology organisation (RTO) and consultancy, specialising in project delivery, innovation support and market development.

Loughborough University’s collaboration with Plastic Energy is safely recycling plastics to create a range of useful materials. Plastic Energy’s Plastic2Plastic process reduces the environmental impact of plastic production and end-of-life processing. Widespread adoption will reduce our carbon footprint and help to curb pollution.
